The sprayer who
took the keys
Mr Satpal Singh, the owner of Argyle Autos Ltd, began his career at the age of 17 when he joined Howells of Newport Road in 1973. He stayed four years and left having completed his apprenticeship.
Keen and determined, he became a very skilful sprayer. He worked for some years as an employee of Argyle Autos, became a partner in 2000 and took over as sole owner of the bodyshop in 2001.
Mr Singh has put his own personality into a service that is all about quality, and about making sure customer satisfaction comes first. In any case of minor or major repair, quality of work is key.

From apprentice to owner

1973
Starts out at 17
Satpal Singh joins Howells of Newport Road, Cardiff, and spends four years there, leaving once his apprenticeship is complete.

1984
Argyle Autos established
The bodyshop that Mr Singh would later own is established.

Years at Argyle
Skilled sprayer
Keen and determined, he becomes a very skilful sprayer and works at Argyle Autos as an employee, an asset to the business.

2000
Partner
Mr Singh becomes a partner in Argyle Autos Ltd.

2001
Sole owner
He becomes sole owner of the bodyshop, and Argyle Autos grows into the family-run business it is today.

Motoring companies and our neighbours
Argyle Autos is contracted to well-known and successful motoring companies and, more importantly, supports the surrounding residential community. We skilfully repair household cars, commercial vehicles, large and small vans, army vehicles and prestige motors.

To keep the business up to date and in check, Argyle Autos is a registered member of organisations including CHAS and the RMI. These organisations approve businesses that have the ability and skills to provide a high standard of service: one that is, above all, safe, and of excellent quality for every customer.
